BILINGUAL Early Childhood Specialist

Family Caseload focus: Liberty County

HYBRIDPrimarily In-Person (Requires Houston-based travel to client homes.) Caseload related administrative work performed from home. Mileage reimbursement eligible. To minimize commute, helpful to reside close to or in Liberty County.

MUST HAVE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH ORAL AND WRITTEN FLUENCY. Candidates without English/Spanish fluency will not be considered. Bilingual requirement is a must-have because many of the families on the assigned caseload are non-English speakers.

NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide parental coaching for the improvement of school-readiness outcomes for children ages birth to five years. Assist parents in family homes, community venues, child care centers and other group spaces to better understand their child’s development/to improve parenting practices.

If you have bilingual English/Spanish oral and written fluency, at least an Associate’s degree in early childhood education with at least 3 years of related early childhood service experience and knowledge and experience working with families navigating the Child Protective Services system, we encourage you to apply!
