We are looking for an exceptional Bilingual Mortgage Application Support Specialist (Spanish/English) to join our team on a part-time basis at our Baltimore office.

This position is ideal for a personable, organized, and dependable professional who enjoys helping people and excels at communicating over the phone.

Position Overview

You will work directly with our growing Spanish-speaking client base, primarily over the phone, assisting clients with completing their mortgage applications and understanding the documentation needed to move forward. This is an in-office position at our main office on Key Highway in Baltimore.

You will play an important role in making our clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout the initial application process.

This is an in-office, part-time customer support position, not a sales or loan origination role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contact Spanish-speaking clients by phone and assist them with completing their mortgage applications.
2. Guide clients step-by-step through the online application process.
3. Clearly explain application questions and documentation requirements in Spanish.
4. Follow up with clients regarding incomplete applications and outstanding documents.
5. Answer incoming client calls and provide exceptional customer service.
6. Maintain accurate records of client conversations and application progress.
7. Coordinate with loan officers and internal team members to ensure a smooth application process.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information.

Required Qualifications

1. Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
2. Excellent telephone communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
3. Strong customer service experience.
4. Comfortable assisting clients with online applications and computer-based processes.
5. Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
6. Ability to explain information clearly and patiently.
7. Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
8. Ability to work part-time, in person, at our Baltimore office.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in mortgage lending, banking, financial services, or a related industry.
2. Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment.
3. Familiarity with mortgage applications and financial documentation.
4. Experience using CRM or loan origination software.

Mortgage experience is preferred but not required. Exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and reliability are essential.
