BIM COORDINATOR
DESCRIPTIONS:
- Model Development: Construct and update 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) disciplines.
- Coordination & Clash Detection: Use BIM software to identify and resolve conflicts and design clashes between different disciplines.
- Documentation: Generate technical drawings, shop drawings, and other BIM deliverables required for construction and submission.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the integrity and quality of the BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work with project stakeholders, engineers, and other teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information exchange.
- Reporting: Conduct model reviews and generate reports to facilitate project coordination and decision-making.
- Data Management: Plan, manage, and maintain BIM data in accordance with project requirements and standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency:High proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- BIM Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with BIM modeling and implementation, often with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or HDB projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction documents, industry standards, and relevant BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
