Bim Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain architectural and structural Revit models.
- Prepare coordinated shop drawings, construction details, and BIM documentation.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models using Revit and Navisworks.
- Conduct clash detection, prepare clash reports, and follow up on outstanding issues.
- Review models and drawings for accuracy, quality, compliance, and buildability.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Update models and drawings based on approved changes and actual site conditions.
- Manage model submissions and ensure deliverables meet the project schedule.
- Maintain proper file naming, model versions, and documentation in the Common Data Environment.
- Support quantity take-off, Revit family creation, and drawing production when required.
- Attend BIM coordination, ICE, technical, and site meetings.
- Conduct site inspections to verify actual conditions against coordinated models.
- Follow the BIM Execution Plan, company BIM standards, and project requirements.
- Report coordination issues, submission status, and model progress to the BIM Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, BIM, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of BIM modelling or coordination experience.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks Manage.
- Experience in architectural, structural, or MEP coordination.
- Able to produce and review coordinated shop drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods and site installation.
- Experience in clash detection and BIM issue tracking.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
