BIM Draftsman (Plumbing & Sanitary)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare and update Plumbing & Sanitary shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop and maintain BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.

- Perform BIM coordination and clash detection with architectural, structural and other M&E services.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants and site teams on drawing requirements and revisions.

- Assist in preparing drawings and documentation for PUB and other relevant authority submissions.

- Conduct site measurements and site visits to verify actual site conditions.

- Ensure drawings are accurate, properly coordinated and prepared according to project requirements.

- Maintain drawing records and update revisions according to site progress.

Job Requirements

- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, BIM or related disciplines.

- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in drafting or BIM modelling.

- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Revit MEP.

- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

- Basic knowledge of Plumbing & Sanitary systems and construction practices.

- Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection.

- Experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

- Willing to attend site visits when required.
