BIM Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM implementation and coordination for building services consultancy projects. The successful candidate will manage BIM processes, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and facilitate effective collaboration among project stakeholders throughout the design and construction stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM implementation across multiple building services projects

• Oversee BIM coordination and ensure compliance with client requirements, project standards, and regulatory submission guidelines

• Lead BIM coordination and clash detection meetings with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders

• Conduct model reviews and clash detection using BIM software, ensuring design conflicts are resolved promptly

• Prepare clash detection reports, coordination reports, and other BIM deliverables for project teams and clients

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across architectural, structural, and M&E disciplines

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), workflows, standards, and quality control procedures

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BIM Coordinators and BIM Modellers

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities to facilitate BIM submissions and project approvals

• Keep up to date with BIM technologies, industry standards, and best practices to support continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of BIM experience, including experience in a leadership or management capacity

• Strong knowledge of BIM submission requirements for building projects in Singapore

• Demonstrated experience leading BIM coordination and clash detection meetings

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and other relevant BIM coordination software

• Experience preparing clash detection reports, BIM coordination reports, and model review documentation

• Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination across M&E, architectural, and structural systems

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

• Able to manage multiple projects and deliver BIM milestones according to project schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a building services consultancy environment

• Familiarity with BCA BIM requirements, BIM Execution Plans, and Common Data Environment workflows

• Experience managing BIM teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants

• Relevant professional BIM certifications would be advantageous
