BIM Manager — Singapore Office

Office Location: Singapore

Kyoob is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM standards, model governance, and multi-disciplinary coordination across Singapore architectural projects, working closely with project teams and Penang BIM support. ArchiCAD is the primary BIM platform for this role.

Purpose

Own BIM delivery quality, consistency, and compliance to office standards across all project stages, from concept and authority submissions through tender and construction, while supporting the project management needs of architectural project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Strategy & Standards

  • Own and continuously improve Kyoob’s BIM standards, templates, libraries, naming conventions, and QA/QC checklists
  • Establish and maintain project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
  • Ensure each project team implements agreed BIM workflows and deliverables
  • Drive best-practice adoption and workflow improvements with ArchiCAD as the primary BIM language; Revit is secondary and used only where required by project or consultant workflows

Project BIM Management & Coordination

  • Set up and manage BIM project environments, including Teamwork, BIMcloud, CDE protocols, permissions, structure, and model segmentation
  • Lead regular coordination routines, including model audits, issue logging, coordination workshops, and closure tracking
  • Ensure drawing and model deliverables meet deadlines and submission requirements, including Singapore authority submission needs where applicable
  • Support project teams in translating design intent into coordinated, buildable documentation
  • Support project management aspects of architectural projects, including programme tracking, drawing issue planning, consultant coordination, submission readiness, issue closure, and quality control

Information Management & QA/QC

  • Establish model audit routines covering LOD/LOI, model health, classification, parameter completeness, and drawing consistency
  • Review and sign off key BIM deliverables before issue or submission
  • Maintain version control, archiving discipline, and file hygiene

Stakeholder & Consultant Management

  • Coordinate BIM interfaces with external consultants, including C&S, MEP, specialist vendors, and contractors
  • Represent BIM requirements in consultant kick-offs, coordination meetings, and technical workshops
  • Track consultant inputs, drawing dependencies, and BIM-related risks that may affect architectural project delivery

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Mentor and upskill BIM modellers, drafters, and project architects on BIM workflows and office standards
  • Create quick guides and internal SOPs
  • Support onboarding and training plans for BIM staff
  • Provide technical input for BIM hiring and interviews

Technology & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and implement BIM tools and plugins for model checking, issue tracking, and coordination
  • Act as escalation point for advanced BIM troubleshooting and delivery risks
  • Recommend practical workflow improvements that improve project delivery, documentation quality, and team efficiency

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Architecture, Building Information Modelling, construction-related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of BIM experience, with at least 2 years in a BIM coordination or management capacity
  • Strong proficiency in Graphisoft ArchiCAD, including Teamwork, BIMx, and BIMcloud, is required; ArchiCAD is the primary BIM language for this role
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Revit is an advantage where required by project or consultant workflows
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, multi-disciplinary coordination, and BIM information management
  • Experience developing and maintaining BEPs
  • Experience running coordination and QA/QC routines across multiple projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable leading coordination meetings and following through on issue closure

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Singapore-based projects and authority submission workflows
  • Experience coordinating multi-office delivery between Singapore and Penang
  • Familiarity with CDE practices and formal issue tracking workflows
  • Exposure to architectural project management support, including programme tracking, consultant coordination, and submission planning

  • Graphisoft ArchiCAD, including Teamwork
  • BIMcloud and BIMx
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit, where required by project or consultant workflows
  • Coordination and review tools such as BIMcollab or Navisworks, where required by project
