BIM Manager
PCI is seeking an energetic, dependable and motivated BIM Manager for its Los Angelas Interior 557 operations based in Anaheim, CA.
This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Facilitate BIM Coordination meetings
Coordinate all BIM Logistics (Contracts, Emails, File sharing, etc.)
Review and document design document and coordination conflicts.
Run and analyze clash detection on federated model
Communicate conflicts in model; both real and potential
Prepare and distribute clash reports to facilitate the coordination process
Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings along with operations staff
Facilitate subcontractor communication in and out of meetings
Facilitate sign off and submittal of coordinated area
Site inspection and liaising with trade contractors
Meet with engineers, architects and/or clients as required to facilitate review of models as needed
CREATE & MAINTAIN MODELS FOR PROJECT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Create models including structure, interior and exterior architectural elements.
Coordinate with BIM service providers and clients.
Compile contract BIM close out documentation.
Salary Range: annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in computer assisted drafting and design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture 2015, Revit and Navisworks
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture or Engineering fields
Ability to understand design and document coordination
Knowledge of construction industry, means and methods
Ability to take responsibility for the outcome and results of assigned projects
Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
Positive attitude and ability to work in team environment
Work well under pressure and deadline
Ability to communicate the benefits of BIM, both for internal and external purposes
Passion about BIM and how it can be used to improve the productivity of those who work in design and construction.
