BIM Modeler (MEP)

Job Description & Requirements

Develop and maintain BIM models for Electrical and Fire Protection systems using Autodesk Revit.

Produce coordinated 3D models, shop drawings, and installation drawings.

Prepare detailed layouts for lighting systems, power distribution, small power systems, cable trays and conduits, earthing and lightning protection systems, fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and fire protection piping.

Coordinate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and other MEP disciplines.

Perform clash detection using Navisworks and resolve coordination issues.

Update BIM models based on design revisions and site feedback.

Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client standards, and applicable codes.

Assist engineers in preparing quantity take-offs and construction documentation.

Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support project delivery.

Maintain organized BIM libraries, families, and project documentation.

Support as-built model updates and project handover documentation.
