BIM Modeller
Summary
Creates and updates 3D building models and shop drawings using BIM software like Revit, coordinating with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy and alignment with construction plans.
Job Description:
- Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to perform drawing work tasked.
- Report to the manager/engineer in charge and perform work task assigned.
- Monitor modelling/update drawing/inform Project Manager if there is any changes.
- Liaise with architect.
- Input finishing with more details (if any).
- Monitor/checking if there is any crashing.
- Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule.
- Produce shop drawings as per detail given by engineer/manager.
- Able to produce revised shop drawing within one week upon receiving commented drawing.
- Familiar with program: Revit Archi and Revit MEP for drawing and Navis for checking the drawing.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil/ Structure/ Building.
- Min 2 years' experience in related field for this position.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley AECOsim.
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.
- Knowledge of structural and MEP systems and their integration into BIM model.
