BIM Modeller
Summary
Creates and maintains 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP works, coordinates with teams, and produces shop/fabrication drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Responsibilities
• Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP or façade works.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM models with architects, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve design clashes.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM software.
• Update BIM models to reflect design revisions and as-built conditions.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans.
• Extract schedules, quantities, and material information from BIM models when required.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain proper document control and version management of BIM files.
• Support project planning, fabrication, and site installation through accurate modelling.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM modelling experience in construction, façade, aluminium, or MEP projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and coordination processes.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, clash detection, and model coordination.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
