BIM Modeller
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Design Engineer to develop drawings and BIM models for coordination and collaboration using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare BIM models in Revit to support CORENET X submission requirements and ensure compliance with the relevant standards and workflows.
- Ensure construction documents, parameters and model information are accurate and up to date.
- Adhere to the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project BIM workflow requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings for submission and approval.
- Prepare drawings and 3D models for construction, coordination and as-built purposes.
- Monitor and update the BIM model based on site condition changes.
- Import and integrate 3D models from other software such as SketchUp, Rhino, etc.
- Follow BIM standards, project deliverables and the required Level of Development (LOD).
- Create and develop Revit parametric families based on project and material requirements.
- Be adaptable to other BIM modelling tools required for the project.
- Carry out clash detection for Architectural & Structural (A&S) models and prepare clash reports.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in BIM modelling.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and able to produce BIM models for CORENET X submissions. Candidates must possess strong Revit modelling skills, as Revit is essential for preparing and coordinating models in accordance with CORENET X requirements.
- Good knowledge of Autodesk CAD software and BIM software/tools (Autodesk Revit & Tekla).
- Able to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
