BIM Specialist/BIM Modeler
Responsibilities
- Develop, update and maintain BIM Design Models and documentation in accordance with DCA's procedures and standards
- Understand and apply Singapore’s regulatory compliances, submission requirements and ensuring BIM Submission Models and documentation meets these standards.
- Create BIM library for projects
- Preparations of BIM models with information required by authorities
- Oversee BIM project and coordinate between BIM Modelers/Specialists
- Ensure Modeling Quality Control
- Communication with project team to translate design in 3D models
- Feedback to designers about clashes and other design issues
- Keep and update drawing revisions and drawing registers
Qualities and skills required
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Revit/BIM for architectural projects with office/retail/residential/mixed development experience
- English/Mandarin, spoken and written is essential to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Parametric design tools is an advantage
- Well-versed in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission and Corenet-X’s RABW process, Authorities' requirements, codes and guidelines
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection (AECC) software including Autodesk Revit
- Completed Corenet-X’s IFC-SG Projects, BCA Academy’s BIM Modeling and BIM Management would be an added advantage
