Role and Responsibilities

• Biomedical scientists investigate biological processes and diseases affecting humans and animals.
• They design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret findings to develop new treatments, therapies, and medical devices.
• Their work spans areas such as genetics, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, and molecular biology, often using techniques like microscopy, DNA sequencing, and protein analysis.
• They may also participate in clinical trials to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs and medical devices, collaborating with healthcare professionals to advance diagnostics and treatments.
