At Novonesis, we believe better science creates better outcomes. We are seeking a BiomeFx Clinical Support Manager to join our Scientific Affairs team and serve as a trusted clinical, educational, and scientific partner for healthcare practitioners utilizing the BiomeFx microbiome testing platform.
Reporting to the Head of Scientific Affairs, this role plays a critical part in supporting practitioner success through education, implementation guidance, and ongoing clinical engagement. You will work cross-functionally with Scientific Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Support, and Product Development teams to help practitioners confidently integrate microbiome testing into patient care and clinical workflows.
The Role & Your Impact
As the BiomeFx Clinical Support Manager, you will serve as the primary clinical and educational resource for healthcare practitioners using the BiomeFx platform. This role combines scientific expertise, practitioner relationship management, educational program development, and implementation support to drive successful adoption and utilization of microbiome testing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support successful adoption and utilization of BiomeFx testing within healthcare practitioner accounts.
- Educate healthcare practitioners on microbiome science, testing methodology, report interpretation, clinical applications, and patient selection.
- Conduct one-on-one and group trainings, webinars, workshops, and educational programs for practitioners and clinic teams.
- Develop educational materials, implementation guides, case studies, presentations, and training resources.
- Build and maintain strong practitioner relationships through ongoing follow-up, consultation, and implementation support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share practitioner insights and support continuous improvement of products, training programs, and customer experience.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Nutrition, Biology, Microbiology, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience in clinical education, functional medicine, diagnostics, laboratory testing, scientific support, or another healthcare-related field.
- Experience working directly with healthcare practitioners.
- Demonstrated success in practitioner relationship management, implementation support, or adoption-focused roles.
- Experience presenting educational content to professional audiences.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of microbiome science and microbiome testing technologies.
- Ability to interpret and communicate scientific data and clinical reports.
- Knowledge of practitioner workflows and clinical operations within functional and integrative healthcare settings.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value
- Advanced knowledge of stool testing methodologies, metagenomics, and microbiome-based clinical applications.

- Experience creating digital educational content, webinars, video training, or virtual learning experiences.
- Background in functional medicine, integrative medicine, nutrition, or gastrointestinal health.
- Passion for translating complex scientific concepts into practical, actionable clinical guidance.
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage practitioner engagement and account activity.

Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base salary: $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
- 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
- Minimum of 3 weeks of vacation plus 12 holidays and 2 weeks of Wellness Time
