Responsibilities

  • Develop UEFI BIOS solutions for server and/or desktop platforms, ensuring functionality aligns with product requirements.

  • Design, implement, debug, and validate firmware, software, and hardware components across the system development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide engineering support and resolve BIOS-related issues effectively.

  • Review and verify BIOS system specifications to ensure compliance with design and performance standards.

  • Manage project schedules from initial design through to production release, ensuring on-time delivery.

  • Conduct functionality and reliability testing to maintain high product quality and adherence to standards.

  • Contribute to Linux kernel development, including custom device driver implementation and optimization.

  • Consult and coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to review and refine system specifications and functional requirements.

  • Guide firmware, hardware, and QA teams to ensure timely and successful product integration and market readiness.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in low-level software development, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Legacy BIOS or UEFI firmware development.

  • Proficient in C, C++, and/or Assembly; strong software design background is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux-based systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Proven team player with a strong passion for software development.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
