Job Title: Bistro Attendant

Position Scope: The Bistro Attendant prepares food orders and serves meals or beverages to residents and guests, and coordinates kitchen activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the organization's mission, core values and goals, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
• Completes all hours of state-mandated continuing education each year.
• Promotes and demonstrates a spirit of teamwork in performing daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
• Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
• Promotes the property positively and effectively communicates the organization’s values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community. · Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred.
• Take food and beverage orders, prepare orders and deliver to residents and guests dining in the bistro.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders.
• Organizing and maintaining a clean service area.
• Make sure supplies are stocked and notify the Director of Culinary Services when supplies are low.
• Ensuring guest satisfaction through dining room cleanliness.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
