NC FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Pay: $25–$30/hr

Job Summary Leads blockage resolution work including conduit clearing, obstruction identification, fiber restoration, and pathway preparation.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Lead blockage and troubleshooting activities

•⁠ ⁠Diagnose conduit or pathway issues

•⁠ ⁠Perform trenching and digging as needed

•⁠ ⁠Splicing of fiber

•⁠ ⁠Floating/blowing fiber within existing infrastructure

•⁠ ⁠Use fiber diagnostic and testing tools

•⁠ ⁠Guide assistant technician

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

•⁠ ⁠Understanding and operation of fiber blowing/floating equipment

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠OSP / underground fiber experience

•⁠ ⁠Fiber splicing experience

•⁠ ⁠Fiber troubleshooting capability

•⁠ ⁠Basic equipment knowledge (OTDR, VFL, PON meter, etc.)

•⁠ ⁠Ability to perform trenching/digging

•⁠ ⁠Valid driver’s license
