You will help develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure for a Solana-based DeFi project. You will contribute to Rust smart contracts, support feature implementation and bug fixes, participate in reviews and security processes, and collaborate on user-facing features. You will apply DeFi security, performance, and reliability practices while working asynchronously with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and testing of smart contracts in Rust on Solana
  • Support senior engineers in implementing features, fixing bugs, and improving performance
  • Participate in code reviews, security audits, and testing procedures
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-facing features
  • Apply security, performance, and reliability best practices in DeFi systems
  • Engage with the Solana and DeFi community as needed

Requirements

  • Some experience building or experimenting with Solana smart contracts using Rust, TypeScript, and Next.js
  • Demonstrated interest in DeFi, blockchain, or crypto applications
  • Ability to read, understand, and debug on-chain logic
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote asynchronous team
  • Familiarity with DeFi primitives, token economics, or Solana protocols is a strong plus
  • Prior contributions to open-source crypto projects or Solana hackathons are a bonus
