Blockchain Research & Innovation Lead

We’re looking for someone who lives a few steps ahead of the blockchain market.
Not just someone who knows how smart contracts work, but someone who constantly asks: What’s next? What should we support? What can we integrate? What are other wallets already doing that we should do better?
Your mission will be to continuously explore the blockchain ecosystem, identify technologies and opportunities worth pursuing, and turn them into concrete product and technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor blockchain ecosystems, emerging technologies, protocol upgrades, standards, and competitor wallets.
• Identify promising blockchain innovations and translate them into concrete product and technical initiatives.
• Research and define multisig architectures, cryptographic solutions, and signing mechanisms across different blockchain networks.
• Evaluate new networks, protocols, EIPs/BIPs, smart-contract capabilities, and third-party integrations.
• Provide technical and architectural recommendations, balancing security, feasibility, and product value.
• Own the blockchain innovation backlog - from research and prioritization to implementation.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Security teams to shape the blockchain roadmap and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and applied cryptography, including digital signatures, key management, and cryptographic security principles.
• Strong expertise in multisig architectures across different blockchain ecosystems, including MPC, threshold signatures, and smart-contract-based solutions.
• Solid knowledge of ERC, EIP, and BIP standards, major blockchain networks, protocols, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in blockchain engineering, smart-contract development, cryptography, or technical R&D.
• Strong awareness of major and recent blockchain ecosystem developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Experience evaluating and integrating blockchain technologies into real products.
• Strong product mindset - ability to connect technical innovations with business opportunities and product strategy.
• Technical leadership and ownership - ability to make architectural decisions, align stakeholders, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution.
• Genuine passion for blockchain innovation and staying ahead of the market.
