Job Description

The Behavior Analyst will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director (BCBA) and must adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Ethics Code. This role involves providing behavior analytic services, including:

  • Assisting in conducting assessments
  • Developing behavior support plans and guidelines
  • Collecting and graphing behavior data
  • Providing staff training and feedback
  • Assisting in crisis situations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data collection systems
  • Graph and summarize behavior data regularly
  • Train staff on Positive Behavioral Supports, behavior plans, behavior guidelines, medical treatment plans, data collection, and other behavioral techniques
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) using direct and indirect assessment methods
  • Create or assist in developing Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Guidelines
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Manage a caseload of individuals receiving behavioral services
  • Collaborate with families, guardians, and residential staff to address participant behavioral needs
  • Assist in behavioral crisis situations as needed
  • Maintain a valid Safety Care certification
  • Attend Human Rights Committee and clinical review meetings
  • Follow all agency safety standards and adhere to Charles River Center policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as needed in alignment with the organization’s mission and philosophy
