Morrison Center is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst for a Special Purpose Private School, in Scarborough Maine. Full-Time - 37.5 Hours

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Morrison School in Scarborough, Maine, is

responsible for providing expert behavior analytic services to support students with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral health needs.


Morrison Center’s Special Purpose Private School provides a trauma-informed, holistic educational experience for students with autism, physical disabilities, cognitive delays, and behavioral challenges. Our team-based model emphasizes experiential learning, functional life skills, and unconditional positive regard.

Requirements of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Certified 282 Preferred.
  • Caseload of 12-15 students
  • Master’s degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field
  • Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and student-centered services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention planning, and data-driven decision
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral health needs in educational

Responsibilities of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Conduct direct behavior analysis and develop individualized intervention plans for 10-12 students with autism
  • Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data.
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor data to evaluate student progress and modify interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other related service providers to support student well-being.·
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide clinical supervision and ongoing support to Behavior Health Professionals (BHPs) and Educational Technicians.
  • Monitor fidelity of behavior intervention plan implementation and provide corrective feedback when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board ethical guidelines and relevant state special education regulations.
  • Engage in school-wide positive behavior support initiatives and promote a positive school climate.
  • Provide crisis intervention support as needed, following established protocols
