Body Shop Estimator - Continental Collision Center
Summary
Body shop estimator writes collision repair estimates and coordinates vehicle repairs for an auto body shop. Uses CCC1 and ProfitNet software to document damage, manage insurance relationships, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Must maintain a 95% or better CSI score.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Write estimates and coordinate field estimates for repairs

Ensure all data fields are entered correct and complete

Determine customer expectations and monitor repair to meet those expectations

Address customer concerns immediately
-

Check in vehicle, take photos per insurance and CCC requirements
-
Apply seat and steering wheel covers
-
Thoroughly review repair plan after blueprint is complete
-
Maintain good working relationship with Insurance companies
-
Keep customer informed throughout repair process.

Update customer a minimum of twice a week
-
Add notes in ProfitNet when customer is contacted or contact by customer

Ensure customer is informed of additional repairs needed
-

Keep continuous communication with Production Manager, Paint shop manager and Parts department to ensure current information to customer is correct.

Stay on top of cycle time for repair completion

Keep Accounts Receivable updated and current

Take opportunity to up-sale when looking over vehicle with customer

Conduct final Quality Check of vehicle

Provide Excellent Customer Service at all times to achieve best CSI possible.

Maintain CSI of 95% or better

Perform duties as assigned by management

Maintain good relationships with customers to ensure return business. Communicate with all department managers to establish good timelines for repair completion to allow cycle times to be accurate

Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year

Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
Hours:

This is a full-time position.

Our shop is open Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm
