Summary:
Body Shop Technicians provide automotive repairs related to the removal, replacement, repair and preparation of damaged components and aligns vehicle frame and unibody components to manufacture specifications. In this position, duties range from the removal of parts, prep work, painting, and detailing following repair work.
Reports To: Body Shop Manager
Job Duties:
• Remove parts and reassemble once finished. Align new parts correctly to match the body of the vehicle.
• Preparing vehicle and parts prior to painting.
• Mix and match paint colors to vehicle’s code correctly.
• Sanding and buffing vehicle and parts following painting.
• Follows Dealership safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Exemption Status:
Body Shop Technician is a non-exempt position. You are required by Federal and State Law and
by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours you work each day.
Failure to comply with this requirement can result in disciplinary action up to and including
termination.
The dealership is an “at-will” employer, meaning that your employment has no specific term,
and that the employment relationship may be terminated at any time at the will of either party on
notice to the other. Nothing contained in you commission (compensation/pay) plan should be
understood to alter the nature of the at-will employment relationship or create a contract of
