We are currently searching for a Bodyshop Porter who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking and motivated to join our team.
Position Summary
Position: Car Porter
Classification : Full Time; Non -Exempt
Reports To: Bodyshop Manager
Work Location: In person; 5500 S Shaver St, Houston TX 77034
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Keeps vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed
- Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows etc. as needed.
- Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
- Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
- Cleans and tidies shop
- Other Duties Assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:
- Porter or valet experience preferred, we encourage you to apply but this is not a requirement.
- Must be 18 years of age
- All applicants must pass pre-employment screening which includes Background Check, Drug Test, and MVR
- Must have clean driving record, and be licensed for a minimum of 3 years to be insurable
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9am - 6pm up to 40 hours per week
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to drive, stand, bend, and/ or walk for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
