Boys JV Basketball Coach

Peninsula Catholic High School is seeking a qualified Boys’ JV Basketball Coach to oversee the school’s basketball program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct basketball practices and game preparation.

• Teach proper basketball techniques, conditioning, and game strategy.

• Assist with offseason conditioning, player recruitment, and program growth.

• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.

• Foster a positive and competitive team culture that reflects the mission and values of Peninsula Catholic High School.

• Collaborate with school administration, athletic department staff, parents, and community supporters.

• Ensure compliance with VISAA, TCIS, and school policies and procedures.

• Previous basketball coaching experience, preferably at the high school, club, or collegiate level.

• Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and player development.

• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes

• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Successful completion of required background screening.

• VIRTUS certification (or willingness to obtain)
