Branch Chief - Center for Credentialing and Cohorts-Based Learning
The Office of Human Resources is seeking a Branch Chief - Center for Credentialing and Cohorts-Based Learning (Supervisory Human Resources Specialist). As a Branch Chief in SECU's Center for Credentialing and Cohorts-Based Learning, you lead a team responsible for credentialing programs, services, and resources vital to SEC business readiness and for cohort learning pathways that support career advancement and mission-aligned capability.
In this role as a Branch Chief you will be responsible for: Providing leadership, direction, and oversight for branch operations supporting career development, professional development, and capability building across the SEC. Leading a team of Human Resources Specialists and Learning & Development professionals in planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating training solutions that support SEC technical, regulatory, and mission aligned needs. Overseeing program governance, metrics, evaluation frameworks, and data driven decision making consistent with agency training policies. Ensuring branch compliance with federal training policy, OHR requirements, and SEC University standards for the design, delivery, evaluation, and documentation of training programs. Managing budget planning, execution, and reporting for assigned learning portfolios. Representing SECU in agency wide training governance meetings, committees, and cross functional projects focused on workforce readiness, talent development, and human capital modernization. Supervising, mentoring, and developing staff; planning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, providing technical and administrative guidance, and promoting a collaborative, high performing team culture.
