Branch Chief (COR)

As a Project Management Branch Chief, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and direction of a Construction Management (COR) Branch composed of subordinate Construction Managers (CORs) and Project Managers. Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX) We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Operates at a programmatic and organizational leadership level, ensuring that construction management services are effectively planned, resourced, executed, and continuously improved across the portfolio. Plans, directs, and evaluates Branch activities involving construction management, contract oversight, and project delivery support, ensuring alignment with Public Building Services policies, program priorities, and customer requirements. Provides full supervisory authority over Branch personnel, including subordinate Construction Managers and Project Managers. Provides oversight and direction for Contracting Officer's Representative activities across the Branch, ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations, contract requirements, and Public Building Services policies. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Public Building Services leadership, customer agencies, contractors, and industry partners.

Serve a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period, if required.
