Branch Compliance Officer

Grade: Senior Banking Officer

📍Lagos

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory
● First degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Finance or any related discipline
● Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Banking Operations, Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management or a related function.
● Professional qualification - ACA, ACCA, CFA, ACIB

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● Good knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements
● Understanding of AML/CFT, KYC, CDD and sanctions compliance requirements
● Knowledge of branch operations, account opening and transaction processes
● Good understanding of compliance risk and internal control principles
● Strong attention to detail and ability to identify exceptions
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
● Good report-writing and documentation skills
