What You Should Know About The Role:
Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operations of the branch. This position leads and develops branch employees, ensures an exceptional customer experience, maintains effective operational controls, and supports the growth of customer relationships within the Bank and the community.
The Branch Manager remains actively involved in branch operations and customer service while ensuring employees have the training, resources, and direction necessary to successfully serve customers and meet established expectations.
Job Summary:

This position leads and develops branch employees, ensures an exceptional customer experience, maintains effective operational controls, and supports the growth of customer relationships within the Bank and the community.
The Branch Manager remains actively involved in branch operations and customer service while ensuring employees have the training, resources, and direction necessary to successfully serve customers and meet established expectations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leadership & Employee Development
- Lead, coach, develop, and support Tellers, Customer Service Representatives, Universal Bankers, and other assigned branch employees.
- Establish clear performance expectations and promote accountability, teamwork, and consistent customer service.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins, performance evaluations, coaching, and development conversations.
- Plan and delegate work to ensure appropriate branch coverage and effective use of staff resources.
- Support employee onboarding, training, cross-training, and continued development.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment aligned with the Bank’s culture and Cornerstones.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Branch Operations & Oversight
Branch Operations & Oversight
- Oversee daily branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash and vault management, account servicing, safe deposit operations, and other assigned branch functions.
- Ensure branch transactions and operational activities are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established procedures and internal controls.
- Monitor branch balancing, account quality assurance, cash needs, and operational exceptions, addressing issues as needed.
- Maintain appropriate branch security practices, access controls, supplies, equipment, and facility needs.
- Serve as an escalation point for operational issues and complex customer situations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve branch efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer Service & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying needs and providing appropriate solutions or referrals.
- Support branch growth through relationship development, customer retention, and identification of new business opportunities.
- Partner with lenders and other departments to develop and strengthen customer relationships.
- Actively participate in Bank and community events to build relationships and increase the Bank’s visibility within the community.
- Promote consistent delivery of an exceptional customer experience throughout the branch.
- Assist customers with consumer loan applications, closings, and general lending needs within assigned authority.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure branch employees follow Bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of BSA/AML, Customer Identification Program (CIP), transaction reporting, and other requirements applicable to branch operations.
- Monitor branch operational risks and promptly address or escalate exceptions and concerns.
- Ensure required employee training is completed and regulatory procedures are consistently followed.
- Support internal audits, examinations, and corrective actions related to branch operations.
Branch Performance & Strategic Growth
- Establish and monitor branch goals aligned with Bank objectives.
- Monitor branch performance and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, customer relationships, and growth.
- Work collaboratively with Bank leadership and other departments to support strategic initiatives.
- Communicate branch challenges, opportunities, staffing needs, and operational concerns to management.
- Continuously identify opportunities to strengthen branch performance and the customer experience.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain working knowledge of Teller, Customer Service Representative, Universal Banker, and Relationship Banker functions and provide coverage or assistance as business needs require.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge of Bank products, services, systems, and operational procedures.
- Participate in Bank initiatives, projects, and community activities as assigned.

- 3 - 5 years banking and consumer loan experience.
- 3 - 5 years supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with computers, including Microsoft Office products and LaserPro.
Pay Range:
$46,000 - $55,000 annually
Compensation Overview:
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $46,000 - $55,000 annually, which reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for candidates who meet the standard qualifications for the role. Actual base pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, experience, and location.
Physical Requirements:

- Occasionally lift and move forty pounds.
