Branch Manager

ICE Electrical is excited to bring to market an opportunity for a commercially minded electrical professional to take ownership of the Manawatu branch. This role plays a key part in leading operations across commercial and industrial electrical projects, strengthening customer partnerships and contributing to the overall success of the business.

The Role

As Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, combining operational management, business development, project pricing and team leadership.

Core responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining trusted client relationships

• Identifying and developing new business

• Preparing tenders, pricing and quotations for projects and service work

• Managing branch financial performance and operational targets

• Mentoring and developing electricians, apprentices and field staff

• Maintaining high health, safety and quality standards

• Coordinating workflow planning, scheduling and resource allocation

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you will combine commercial awareness with the ability to develop a high performing team. This role will best suit an experienced Branch Manager or Electrical Professional ready to step into a leadership position.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven leadership experience within commercial or industrial electrical environments

• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management capability

• Experience in pricing, estimating and monitoring financial performance

• The ability to mentor and develop a team

• Sound planning and organisational abilities

• Local industry knowledge and established professional networks

• Experience using SimPRO would be beneficial

• A current New Zealand driver licence and valid New Zealand working rights
