Brand and Marketing Manager
Description
The Studio
A founder-led womenswear brand built on instinct, sensuality and a singular point of view. Our client designs for women who dress for themselves. Their world is sun-soaked, cinematic and unapologetic, and their content is how that world comes to life. This studio is a lean, fast-moving team with a global audience and ambitious plans.
The opportunity
This role turns the founders’ creative direction into a plan and makes sure it happens, on time and to the right standard. The creative directors set the vision for each season. You bring it to life across every channel, run the marketing and comms calendar, and lead the brand and content team day to day from the London studio.
You’ll need a strong eye for what aligns with the brand, but this is a delivery and leadership role rather than a creative direction one. You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving while the founders focus on the creative.
What you’ll own
- The marketing and comms calendar for every drop, built against the critical path.
- Launches across homepage, email, social, PR and paid, so every drop lands consistently.
- Day-to-day leadership of the brand and content team, including production, digital design and social.
- Clear reporting to the founders on what’s working and what’s next.
Planning and delivery
- Turn the founders’ seasonal direction into a clear plan for each drop: what goes out, where, when, and who owns it.
- Own the marketing and comms calendar, aligned with Product and the critical path.
- Brief the team, freelancers and agencies, and track every piece of work from brief to live.
- Run regular check-ins so everyone, including founders working remotely, knows where things stand.
Channels
- Own homepage and email planning: what gets pushed, when, and why.
- Coordinate social, PR, paid and wholesale activity around each launch.
- Work with Digital, Production, Design and Ecommerce so product is merchandised at the right time.
Social and influencer strategy
- Work with the Social Lead to drive the social strategy forward, with clear goals for each channel and each drop.
- Shape the influencer and creator strategy: who we work with and why, the mix of gifted and paid, budgets, and how we measure results.
- Hold the team to those goals and use the results to decide what they do next.
Production
- Support campaign and content shoots: schedules, budgets, call sheets and asset delivery.
- Make sure every shoot is captured for all channels and that assets are used to their full potential.
Team leadership
- Line-manage and performance-manage the brand, content and social team, including the Social Lead.
- Run regular one-to-ones and reviews, set clear objectives, and follow through when performance needs to improve.
- Set a clear standard for every role, so each person knows what good looks like, what doesn’t meet the bar, and how to get there.
- Support each person’s development and progression.
- Manage freelancer and contractor relationships as an extension of the team.
- Be the point of accountability to the founders for the team’s output.
Reporting and budget
- Track performance across channels and report monthly to the founders: what worked, what didn’t, and what they’ll do next.
- Manage the brand and content budget.
The Ideal Candidate
- You have 4+ years in marketing, brand, or content at a fashion or lifestyle brand, ideally premium or founder-led.
- You’re highly organised and have owned a marketing calendar or critical path with many moving parts.
- You’ve managed people and enjoy helping a team do its best work.
- You have a strong eye. You instinctively know what feels on brand, even though you won’t be setting the creative direction.
- You’re comfortable with numbers and use them to make decisions.
- You communicate clearly and are confident working with founders who aren’t always in the studio.
- You’re at home with project tools (we use Monday and Slack), design tools like Figma or Canva, and AI.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, dynamic creative team and play a key role in shaping the social presence of an exciting and growing fashion brand.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
