Brand Designer

Summary

The Brand Designer will own the visual identity of an enterprise AI platform, managing everything from design systems and websites to physical office spaces and merchandise. This role requires hands-on production skills in Figma and the ability to integrate AI tools into creative workflows.

About the Role

This is a full-ownership brand design role at a growing enterprise AI platform, sitting at the intersection of digital, physical, and experiential design. You'll define how the company shows up everywhere — from the website and design system to merch, offices, and event spaces — with real creative latitude and fast feedback loops.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve the design system, maintaining components, tokens, and visual patterns for reuse across the brand.

  • Design intentional merch end-to-end: brief suppliers, iterate on samples, and make final calls on materials and quality.

  • Shape physical spaces including the office, event setups, and conference booths to craft cohesive brand experiences.

  • Lead high-visibility creative projects from concept to delivery, including product and campaign launch moments.

  • Maintain the website's visual and frontend quality, shipping production-ready updates independently.

  • Move fluidly between Figma, creative briefs, and vendor relationships to keep projects on track.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate workflows without compromising quality or creative judgment.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of brand design experience delivering end-to-end brand experiences spanning design systems, merch, and physical spaces.

  • Strong Figma skills with the ability to implement designs in production — no developer handoff required.

  • Proven track record leading high-visibility creative projects from brief through delivery.

  • Hands-on experience with design system ownership: components, tokens, and scalable visual patterns.

  • Experience with spatial and experiential design — offices, exhibitions, or event activations.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows to work faster while preserving craft and judgment.

  • Comfortable defining briefs in ambiguous situations and defending decisions with taste and rigor.

  • Motion design or animation experience is a plus, as is accessibility-conscious token work.

  • Collaborative and kind, with a strong sense of creative ownership.
