A. New Product Launches
- Lead the end-to-end commercial preparation and execution of new product launches across oncology, immunology, rare diseases, and other specialty/innovative portfolios.
- Develop comprehensive pre-launch and launch plans, including positioning, value propositions, messaging, and customer segmentation.
- Conduct market assessments covering market size, patient population, treatment pathways, competitors, pricing, access, and growth opportunities.
- Develop launch timelines, milestones, KPIs, resource requirements, forecasts, budgets, and business cases.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness across Commercial, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant functions.
- Track launch performance and implement corrective actions where required.
B. Brand Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Develop and implement annual and long-term Brand Plans based on market opportunities and business objectives.
- Translate global/regional strategies from principals into appropriate UAE commercial strategies.
- Identify growth opportunities across products, indications, customer segments, and channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, treatment guidelines, product performance, and customer insights.
- Optimize the brand mix and lifecycle strategy throughout the product’s commercial life.
C. Specialty Care & Stakeholder Engagement
- Map patient journeys and identify barriers to diagnosis, treatment initiation, access, and continuation.
- Develop stakeholder engagement strategies for healthcare professionals and relevant healthcare institutions.
- Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Work with Market Access to understand reimbursement, tender, formulary, and access dynamics.
D. Market Intelligence & Business Analytics
- Analyse market and sales data to identify trends and opportunities; monitor competitors and emerging therapies.
- Track brand KPIs, market share, sales performance, and promotional effectiveness.
- Develop management presentations and business reviews for senior leadership and principals.
E. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the commercial lead for assigned brands and coordinate activities across Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Development, and Principal companies.
- Ensure all functions are aligned around launch objectives, commercial priorities, timelines, and business outcomes.
F. Principal / Partner Management
- Prepare regular business reviews and performance updates.
- Coordinate launch plans and commercial strategies with principals; ensure alignment on marketing activities, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand the partnership and portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
- MBA, Master’s degree, or relevant commercial qualification
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within specialty care, innovative medicines, or hospital products
- Proven experience in brand management and/or product management
- Demonstrated experience in new product launches

- Ability to develop robust business cases, forecasts, and brand plans
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to interpret market data and commercial analytics
