Brand & Marketing Designer

Open 61d

The role

You'll own everything the outside world sees from Elayne: the website, campaigns, sales materials, and social presence that win families and attorneys, plus the moments of delight inside the product that make it feel premium.

Please note: This is not a product design role. You won't own flows, wireframes, or UX research. You'll make the visual layer that sells the company and polishes the product, and you'll have real ownership of both.

The problem

We're building a new category: software families use during the hardest weeks of their lives, and attorneys trust with their clients. The visual bar is unusual: warm enough for grief, precise enough for lawyers, premium enough that people trust us with everything.

What you’ll build

  • Web and landing pages that convert: families, attorneys, partners, each with their own register
  • Campaign and sales materials: decks, one-pagers, attorney-facing PDFs, email graphics, event collateral, reusable templates the team runs on daily
  • Motion and social: product walkthroughs, short-form clips, launch assets that make complex workflows instantly clear
  • Moments of delight in the product: icons, illustrations, empty states, confirmation moments, lightweight animation

What you’ll bring

  • You've designed for GTM: marketing sites, campaigns, or sales enablement, and you can talk about what the work was for, not just how it looks
  • Strong fundamentals: typography, hierarchy, color, composition, and the discipline to keep them consistent across many surfaces
  • Excellent in Figma; Framer or Webflow a plus, motion tools (After Effects, Rive, Lottie) a strong plus
  • You use AI as leverage to explore and produce faster, but the final work feels careful and human
  • You ship fast without letting the bar drop

Location and benefits

Full-time, in New York City with the team. Equity, health insurance, and 401(k) included.

Equal opportunity

Elayne is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants based on ability, experience, and potential, and do not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
