Brand Marketing Manager

We operate at consumer scale, protecting millions of people every day across devices, accounts, and digital touchpoints. In a world where phishing, fraud, and AI-powered scams evolve overnight, Guardio stays ahead of the curve.
We move fast, think deeply, and build with purpose. Our culture is rooted in transparency, feedback, and collaboration along with shared wins, team dinners, company trips, and good times.
We’re a team of 100+ makers, doers, and boundary-breakers. If you’re ready to tackle meaningful challenges, grow at lightning speed, and help shape the next frontier of online safety, you belong here
So, what's the job?
We're looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who's equal parts strategic operator, creative storyteller, and builder.
Your goal: help shape and strengthen how Guardio shows up everywhere: to consumers who need protection online, talent who want to work somewhere meaningful, customers who deserve more value, and investors who want to back a category leader.
This is a high-ownership generalist role for someone who can move between strategy and execution, building messaging frameworks, managing research and vendor relationships, running projects end to end, and, where needed, leading distribution.
You'll work closely with our security researchers and Labs team to turn real insights into content that earns attention. You'll use AI tools to move fast and scale smart. And you'll help build a content engine that makes Guardio impossible to ignore.
You will:
- Partner with the VP of Brand to build and maintain Guardio's messaging hierarchy and narrative frameworks across audiences, consumer, talent, enterprise, and investor.
- Source, brief, and manage external creative, research, and production vendors from scoping and quotes through delivery.
- Own project management across brand initiatives timelines, budgets, and cross-functional handoffs, so work moves without being chased.
- Lead or support brand research and testing, including message testing and competitive/category analysis, to sharpen positioning over time.
- Work closely with our security researchers and Labs team to turn real insights into content and narrative that earns attention.
- Help lead organic brand presence and distribution across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter) where needed, and work with external PR firms to surface Guardio Labs stories, scam data, and security trends to journalists and publications.
- Manage and maintain Guardio's website content, oversee blog output (working with an external agency), and ensure everything reflects the brand narrative.
- Collaborate daily with security, product, design, and creative teams to bring campaigns and stories to life - end to end.
- Use AI tools (including image and video generation, writing, and workflow automation) to accelerate production without sacrificing quality.
- Track performance across channels, extract real insights, and continuously optimize for positioning and brand strength, not just engagement metrics.
Sounds great! Am I the right fit?
Our guess is you have a strong shot if you check as many of these as possible:
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, with real ownership of messaging, positioning, or brand marketing work.
- You can work on hands-on execution; comfortable building a messaging doc and negotiating with a vendor in the same week.
- You've worked across market research, messaging development, vendor and agency management, and project delivery without needing to wait on anyone.
- You know how to brief and manage outside partners, agencies, freelancers, researchers, and get sharp work out of them.
- You're fluent in social platforms and know how to play each one: what works on TikTok is not what works on LinkedIn. You understand social and PR well enough to guide it when needed, even if it's not your primary focus.
- You're genuinely excited about AI tools and use them daily to create faster, automate smarter, and scale what works.
- You're comfortable working with PR teams and understand how to package insights and data for media.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have real ownership, minimal red tape, and lots of room to experiment.
- You're curious, strategic, and always learning from what performs, and what doesn't.
