Summary

Fleet management role coordinating vehicle servicing, defects, and breakdowns for Network Plus. Handles service requests, liaises with suppliers, ensures SLA compliance, and updates fleet management systems. Works with commercial vehicles and uses fleet management software like Jaama Key2. No relocation assistance available.

As a Breakdown Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.

  • You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s
  • You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts
  • You will ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime
  • You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries
  • You will update fleet management systems
  • You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage
  • Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
  • Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment
  • IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage
  • Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
