Breakfast Server - Part Time

Regulary ranked as the top restaurant and hotel in Charleston, Circa 1886 and the Wentworth Mansion are looking for a Breakfast Server to join our outstanding team. The roll of the server is to provide a sit down, fine dining breakfast experience at Circa 1886 to guests of Wentworth Mansion. The ideal candidate will be available from 7am - 11am for 2-3 shifts per week (including weekends and holidays) and will be eager to uphold the Wentworth Mansion's world class reputation for hospitality, service and luxury.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a fine dining atmosphere to guests of Wentworth Mansion during breakfast service.
• Demonstrate knowledge about the preparation and ingredients of every selection on the menu.
• Must have a general knowledge of the Charleston area to better assist guests with directions and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant including dining rooms, patio and bathrooms.
• Closeout duties include: cleaning side work, polishing of silver and glassware, closeout paperwork, re-setting dining room, and other duties as directed by manager.

Requirements:

• Must have prior serving experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate a professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours per shift.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work from 7am-11am including weekends and holidays.
