Bridal Registry Department Manager

Tipton & Hurst is seeking a Bridal Registry Department Manager. Housed at the Little Rock flagship location, you’ll oversee staffing, manage the buying and sales of fine china, silverware, and related tableware, and provide guidance and advice to new brides and customers who seek high-end products. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers. The role is in person but can be full or part time.

Job responsibilities:

§ Manage staff by hiring, onboarding and supervising the bridal registry team.

§ Maintain knowledge of the latest trends and styles.

§ Develop understanding of Shop Local software platform.

§ Develop ability to identify quality materials and craftsmanship, as well as communicate the features and benefits to customers.

§ Coordinate bridal registry and high value customer orders.

§ Maintain the appearance of the sales floor including ordering of product and inventory.

§ Process sales transactions using point-of-sales, handling cash, and credit card payments.

§ Process returns and exchanges in a professional and efficient manner.

§ Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner ensuring excellent customer service.

§ Ensure products are properly priced and labeled.

§ Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and in providing excellent customer service.

§ Collaborate and assist the Sales Manager managing the home and gift departments.

§ Travel to market with the buying team and meet with vendor-partners to place orders for tabletop.

Requirements

§ Retail sales experience.

§ Proven ability to motivate and lead a team.

§ Tech savvy.

§ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

§ Ability to lift to thirty pounds with ease.

§ Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
