Browser Infrastructure Architect
Description
Bringits is a fast-growing Web Data technology company building the infrastructure that makes the web accessible at scale.
We work with leading companies around the world, solving some of the toughest challenges in web data, from accessing complex and protected websites to collecting, processing, and delivering reliable, real-time data at massive scale.
Our engineers work at the forefront of web scraping, web unblocking, browser automation, distributed systems, networking, and large-scale web data infrastructure.
We believe exceptional engineers should have exceptional tools. Our team works with cutting-edge technologies, AI-powered development tools, and modern infrastructure, with the freedom to experiment, move fast, and turn ideas into production systems.
We’re a young, ambitious team where engineers have real ownership, work closely together, and directly influence the technology and products we build.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Browser Infrastructure Architect to help design and evolve the browser technology at the core of Bringits’ Web Data platform.
You’ll work on architecture for large-scale browser environments used to access, interact with, and collect data from complex and dynamic websites.
The role sits at the intersection of browser infrastructure, browser automation, web scraping, web unblocking, networking, and distributed systems.
You’ll investigate how modern browsers and websites behave under real-world conditions and design scalable infrastructure that delivers reliable web access across challenging environments.
This is a highly technical role for someone who understands browsers beyond the automation layer and enjoys solving complex architectural problems at scale.
What You’ll Do
• Design and evolve Bringits’ large-scale browser infrastructure.
• Architect browser-based systems for high-volume web data collection.
• Develop scalable architectures supporting web scraping and web unblocking workloads.
• Research browser behavior, browser internals, fingerprinting, and automation detection.
• Design solutions for complex and dynamic web environments.
• Work with Chromium, browser automation technologies, and browser-level APIs.
• Design infrastructure for managing large numbers of concurrent browser sessions.
• Work across browsers, networking, proxies, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, sessions, cookies, headers, and web protocols.
• Improve browser performance, stability, resource utilization, and scalability.
• Research modern anti-bot and detection technologies and translate findings into architectural solutions.
• Design resilient systems capable of adapting to changes in websites and web technologies.
• Collaborate with Web Data, Backend, Networking, and Infrastructure engineers on Bringits’ core platform architecture.
Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including significant experience with browser technologies, web automation, infrastructure, or related systems.
• Deep understanding of modern browser architecture and web technologies.
• Strong experience with Chromium, Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar browser technologies.
• Strong understanding of browser automation and large-scale browser environments.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, cookies, sessions, headers, proxies, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance production systems.
• Strong software architecture and system design capabilities.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research complex technical behavior and translate findings into scalable engineering solutions.
• Experience taking ownership of architecture and technical decisions.
Nice to Have
• Experience with large-scale web scraping and crawling infrastructure.
• Experience with web unblocking technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Chromium or other browser internals.
• Experience with browser fingerprinting and automation detection.
• Knowledge of modern anti-bot technologies.
• Reverse engineering experience.
• Experience with proxy infrastructure and IP management.
• Network protocol and traffic analysis experience.
• Experience building distributed browser infrastructure.
• Experience with high-throughput distributed systems.
• Linux and low-level debugging experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.
Education
Academic degree is an advantage, not a requirement.
A B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is welcome, but exceptional hands-on experience matters more to us than credentials.
Experience matters. Talent matters more.
If you’ve developed deep technical expertise outside the traditional academic path, we strongly encourage you to apply.
Who You Are
• Passionate about browsers, web technologies, and complex engineering challenges.
• Curious about how browsers and websites actually work under the hood.
• Someone who wants to understand why a system behaves the way it does, not just find a workaround.
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable owning architecture and technical decisions.
• Comfortable experimenting, researching, and challenging assumptions.
• Always looking for more scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.
• A team player who values professionalism, openness, and high standards.
• Comfortable working in a young, fast-moving technology company.
