BUDGET ANALYST

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a budget analyst for the 11th Comptroller Squadron Financial Analysis Flight, performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of budgets and economic analysis studies for complex programs and support activities in support of JB Anacostia Bolling and its mission partners.

Performs complex budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for joint base supported activities and support programs for 11 CPTS/FMA. Performs complex budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding, such as direct annual and multi-year and no-year apportionments; apportionments; allotments; transfer of funds from other agencies revenue from industrially funded operations; and refunds Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information. Leads and/or performs specialized, individual economic analyses and impact studies in support of a variety of budget programs Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.
