Budget Analyst

About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of the Resource Services Directorate (RSD), in the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAA). Participates in all aspects of the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process within the Army HQDA.

Serves a Budget Analyst at a Command level agency managing a diverse portfolio which supports over 20 internal organizations.

Participates in all aspects of the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process within the Army HQDA.

Supports allocation and reallocation of resources required to support the Army's multiple and diverse missions and transformation efforts.

Works independently to solve complex problems related to prioritizing and integrating Army budget and program requirements such as centralized civilian pay funding within a Command.

Manages all phases of planning, development, presentation/defense, review, and analysis of HQDA operating programs and projects for which the Army Secretariat and ARSTAFF have responsibility.
