BUDGET ANALYST

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 435 Air & Space Communications Group's (435 ACOMG) Resource Advisor and budget analyst. This position is required to perform various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, detailed analysis, and execution of the organization's consolidated budget and funding requirements for its programs.

- Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for the 435 ACOMG programs into a consolidated budget request. - Performs budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding. - Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information. - Conducts analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information. - Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.
