Budget Analyst

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Resource Management Division of the 516th Theater Signal Brigade.

Functions as the principal advisor to leadership on budget formulation, execution, financial management and resource allocation matters affecting battalion operations and mission requirements.

Provides expert analysis and recommendations concerning fiscal planning, execution, reprogramming and resource prioritization across multiple programs and mission areas.

Serves as the Senior Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) for government travel and Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) programs.

Provides expert technical advice and guidance on all phases of appropriated fund budgeting to 30th Battalion leadership, program managers, and subordinate organizations.
