Performs budget analysis and administrative tasks for a U.S. Army intelligence center, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient fund allocation.
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6TMAA NATIONAL GROUND INTELLIGENCE CENTER.
Perform budgetary and administrative functions required in the formulation, execution, and review of assigned portions of the appropriated fund budget of the National Ground Intelligence Center.
Analyze budget estimates and supporting data provided by Directorates and provide recommendations to assure compliance with regulatory and legal limitations and restrictions within the resource programs.
Develop budget estimates for mission support, maintenance, personnel travel, and civilian pay by researching, compiling, and summarizing data required during the formulation of the annual budget.
Determine availability of funds and distribute funds to ensure maximum utilization throughout the fiscal year.
