Budget Control Engineer

• Basic Salaries: The basic salary ranges from OMR 512 to OMR 686, with a total salary package between OMR 823 to OMR 997 and up to OMR 1,200, depending on the candidate’s experience.
• Food, Accommodation, and Transportation Benefits: The company will provide shared accommodation, three meals per day, and local transportation.
• Working Hours / Overtime: 8 hours per day, with no overtime.
• Contract Period: 2 years, renewable.
• Annual Leave: 25 working days per year.
• VISA Type: Family visa.
• Mobilization Start Date: As soon as possible.

Responsible for coordinating between Subcontracting Companies, Finance & Production Departments for
Validating Invoices, Man-hours, Work Completion and Contracts.

 Receiving Invoices from Subcontracting Companies
 Preparing Documents to process subcontractor payments
 To compare the prices between Purchase Order and actual man-hour
 Monitoring the Subcontractor Productivity and Contract
 To analyse Contract with Subcontract company if needed
 Establish Standard subcontracting tariff for Ship Repair
 Provide complete and accurate Reports to Superiors

instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
 Diploma / Degree in Finance or Business Management
Minimum Experience:
 3+ Years of contract related experience in shipyard or shipping related industry
 Required experience of Contract and Management
 Required subcontractor management experience
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
 Understanding of general mechanical drawing, mechanical process and sequence drawing
 Good oral and written communication skill in English is MUST
 Good knowledge of personnel management
 Proficient in MS Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
