Budget Officer (Program Manager)
Summary
Manages budget planning, coordination, and financial reporting for a government security agency, ensuring alignment with program objectives and regulatory requirements.
This position is located in the Pentagon Force Protection Agency with the Security Integration and Technology Directorate, Financial Management Division. The Budget Officer (Program Manager) is responsible for the overall planning, coordinating, integrating, and managing, of the resource related functions of the organization.
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Analyzes financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendations for financial and/or budgetary actions under uncertainly due to short rapidly changing program financial/budgetary deadlines and objectives. Supports the development and submission of the POM in order to ensure linkage with the budget. Issues Resource Authorization Documents (RADs) and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRS) or equivalents. Inputs and extracts data from FM systems to perform budget functions. Analyzes historical, current environment/narrate on cash position in order to establish rates for Revolving Fund.
