Building and Rentals Supervisor (part-time)
JOB SUMMARY: The Part-Time Building Supervisor is responsible for providing customer service and supervising the facility during programs and rentals in the evenings and weekends. This is an at-will position. Primary duties include:
* Responsible for supervision of rentals in the scheduled facility
* Responsible for customer service for rental guests, guests dropping in or calling in
* Ensure the safety of guests at all times and follow up on all accident and situation reports with supervisor
* Maintain good communication with renters, caterers, security guards, DJs, pool staff and other guests in the facility
* Assist in set ups as required
* Ensure proper opening and lock down of facility upon completion of rental event
* Maintain cleanliness of building by periodically emptying trash receptacles, mopping up spills, and sweeping up any broken glass
* Adhere to the general rules and policies of the Rolling Meadows Park District
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 16 years of age with strong inter-personal and customer service skills. Feeling comfortable in a leadership role and acting in emergencies is crucial. Candidate must be dependable and able to possess good judgment in difficult situations. CPR/ AED/ First Aid certification is required.
SCHEDULE & PAY: Schedule is flexible and varies based on program and rental needs. Hours range from 2 to 10 hour shifts, up to 20 hours per week. Schedules vary from 5-9pm weekdays to morning and/or evening weekend shift hours. Holiday hours may be required. Starting range is $15.00 - $15.50 per hour, depending upon qualifications.
