BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

A Project Engineer is responsible for planning,coordinating, and supervising engineering and construction activities to ensureprojects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to qualitystandards. The role involves working closely with project managers,consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Assist the Project Manager in planning and executingconstruction projects.

Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors,subcontractors, and consultants.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completedaccording to the project schedule.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and technicaldocuments.

Ensure all work complies with contract requirements,engineering standards, and local regulations.

Prepare and submit method statements, work schedules,inspection requests, and progress reports.

Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely deliveryto the project site.

Monitor project costs and assist in budget control.

Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients,consultants, and authorities.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.

Identify technical issues and propose practical engineeringsolutions.

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)regulations and company safety policies.

Maintain proper project documentation, including drawings,reports, and records.

Support project handover by preparing completion documentsand resolving outstanding issues.
