BUILDING DRAFTER

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural, structural and construction drawings.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements.
• Develop layout plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, consultants and project teams.
• Review design specifications and ensure drawings comply with approved plans.
• Revise and update drawings according to site conditions and consultant comments.
• Maintain proper records and version control of all drawings.
• Support the project team with technical documentation and submissions.
• Attend coordination meetings and conduct site visits when required.
• Ensure drawings comply with Singapore building codes, BCA requirements and relevant regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp or other drafting software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction standards and submission requirements is preferred.
• Able to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with good accuracy and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with the project team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Candidates with relevant building drafting experience will be preferred.
